Designed by former Professional Robin Daly, son of Irish golfing legend Fred Daly, this putter is designed to suit players who prefer a more confidence building alignment aid on the putter head, and who aim for a straighter swing path with stable rotation.
In combination with all the features of our advanced technology, the Precision 5 has a stepped ridge along the back of the low profile putter head, and a raised alignment arc the width of the golf ball, directly behind the striking zone. These defined visually parallel edges and raised profile aid the eye during putter head alignment - without placing additional weight in the centre of the club. This design allows us to combine our unique balance and Bi-Concave™ profile, whilst providing the player with an alignment aid to boost confidence at setup.
Removing mass from directly behind the striking zone provides the ultimate in weight distribution, increased MOI, an enlarged 'sweet spot' and most importantly improved feel, all of which ultimately results in a smooth and steady putting stroke and more confidence on the greens.
This unique design also allows almost half of the head weight to be positioned within only 12mm of the sole, in the lower 25% of the clubhead, and the balanced low centre of gravity this creates allows a greater degree of rotational stability, helping the player in keeping a parallel swing path throughout the stroke and ensuring the putter head is square on impact.
The reassurance of perfect balance and feel that the Bi-Concave™ profile provides, with ease of alignment, allows you to concentrate on making smooth, confident and consistent putts.
As with the other models in the range, the Precision 5 is designed with a harder more responsive polymer insert on the face to really allow for improved contact through the striking zone in combination with the in-built soft feel from the Bi-Concave™ profile.
Crucially, the range also delivers a solid platform upon which the ideal putting form is built - putt after putt; two flat areas on the sole allow you to feel when the putter head is sitting perfectly flat on the putting surface at address, preventing toe-up setup and dramatically improving consistency.
