Daly Golf return to the Irish Open for 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Not only will the Daly Golf Tour team be available on our stand at the 3 Irish Open (once our Tour players are looked after!), but in association with the European Tour and the Tournament sponsors 3, Daly Golf are also inviting spectators at Baltray to get involved in a Championship of their own on their challenging real grass putting green in the Tented Village.

3_Irish_Open_LegendsFollowing the tremendous success of this event at the 2008 Irish Open, and set to be a fantastic feature at this year’s Championship, a suggested at 1 Euro charity donation is all you need to enter, with all funds raised going to the Tournament’s chosen charity – the Marie Keating Foundation. Following the death of their mother, Marie, in 1998 each member of the Keating family promised that they would do everything they could to bring an end to breast cancer. They committed to provide all women and their families with the necessary information to prevent cancer or detect it at its earliest stages. With such a worthwhile Charity benefiting, we aim to build on the amount raised last year of €2049.25 and have some fun at the same time!

The putting Championship will be open to players of all ages and just for taking part, everyone who enters will be included in a draw after the Championship for a Daly Golf Tour Bag, signed
by all the Professionals playing in the Irish Open – a unique and priceless prize!  All the scores recorded by players on the green will be kept on a leaderboard displayed on the putting green in the Tented Village each day - with the Top 3 players at the 4:30pm close of play winning some fantastic prizes.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
