Encryption Security and SSL - GoDaddy SSL:

An SSL certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a Web site and encrypts information sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Even if you did not konw it, you are probably already very familiar with seeing SSL in action - as a "padlock" icon on your browser.

We chose GoDaddy.com, the largest provider of new SSL certificates in the world, to supply our SSL certificate as it supports both industry standard 128-bit (used by all banking infrastructures to safeguard sensitive data) and high-grade 256-bit SSL encryption to secure online transactions. The actual encryption strength on a secure connection using a digital certificate is determined by the level of encryption supported by your browser. For example, if you are using the latest Firefox® browser, our store enables up to 256-bit AES encryption.

When you submit an order to us, where possible your personal information is encrypted using this SSL technology to prevent others from intercepting your data.  You can confirm the SSL Certificate we are using is genuine and valid by clicking on the image above - which will display the certificate details directly.

Secure Credit Card Processing - Sage Pay:

Going one step further than securing our own server and checkout pages with SSL, the Daly Golf Online Store is integrated with Sagepay, the UK's leading payment services provider, to offer you safe and secure credit card transactions without ever having to share your credit card information with our own server.

We selected Sage Pay as our partner due to their security and the integrity of their brand - they are fully level 1 PCI complaint, and as such run much more secure servers than we could on our own - you can read Sage Pay's Security Policy here.

Once you have selected your purchases, added them to your cart and logged in (or entered your shipping details if checking out as a guest), if you select to pay by Credit or Debit Card a direct link to Sage Pay's secure server is opened for you to authorise your card detals. As this is directly entered on their server there is no transfer of financial data between our site and their server. No information is ever passed unencrypted and only the outcome of the payment is returned to our store from Sage Pay, signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that no information going to or returning from Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Please note that, as your payment details are sent directly to Sage Pay, authorised and completed, we do not hold your financial details on our system. You can therefore quickly and securely pay for your order, without sharing your financial details with us, safely and with peace of mind.
